"The Glass is Full" -Too

"The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook." (Psalms 77:18) I guess I got carried away yesterday; but don't you agree that it's time for the Lord to come back? If anything would make us believe His time was near, it should be the fact that this world is on edge; the edge of their seat is more like it! Do you know what that means? It doesn't mean leaning to the side in order to pass gas, if that's what you're thinking; it means leaning forward ready to jump up out of the chair that they have been slumbering in for who knows how long. We all know what we are truly waiting for, because it's not for the world to get any worse; it's for the Bride of Christ to be ready, and that is determined by the Father! The Son prepares the home to bring His Bride into, but the Father ensures that the Bride is ready for the Son to bring home. That is why Jesus said, "No one knows the day or the hour but my Father," because the Father chooses if the Bride is ready or not, not the Son. It is the Father's will that all might be saved, but it's pretty obvious from the ratio of those who are and those that aren't, that His will includes all that would be saved, not all that should or could. Because truth be told, there isn't a single person alive today that couldn't or shouldn't be saved; even the most hardened criminal that there is on this earth should and could be saved; it's just a matter of saying yes, and surrendering their life to Jesus, and their in! Maybe they are the last one, maybe not; but the Father makes that choice, the Father picks the Bride for His Son. Are you ready? Is there oil in your lamp? Will there be a warning, as in, "Behold, the Bride Groom cometh?" No matter what, half of the world will be sleeping when He comes, so maybe that has something to do with being ready, as in make sure that you're ready when you lay down to sleep at night. The earth is trembling right now, so I believe the time is getting close; how close, we really don't know. But isn't that why we need to be ready? Because we do not know the day or the hour of His return... "Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. However, no one knows the day or the hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn't realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes. Two men will be working in the field; one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming." (Matthew 24:32-42) NLT
