"Upon His"

"That Thy beloved may be delivered; save with Thy right hand, and hear me." (Psalms 60:5) You do  know that God loves you, Right? I was listening to a message yesterday about "the good bad", and how what we see, and others observe, to be bad happening upon us or to us, is actually being meant for good by the God that loves us. Let me restate that in terms that you might best understand: "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good." (Genesis 50:20 NLT) Now, just in case you did not quite get that, how about a more modern version: "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them." (Romans 8:28 NLT) There really isn't any reason to feel bad when bad things might happen, because God has your back; more than that, He will make whatever it is that happens in our life work for the good, no matter how bad it might appear! Don't try to figure it out before hand, because you can't! Only God knows what awaits us at the end of something bad that happens in our lives; only God can take the bad and make it good; not only does He make it good, but if we agree with His purpose for our lives, we feel good in the bad situation. That might be the one area where we need to be helped, and the area where God really does want to help us, to feel good in the bad. If you are not feeling good going through something right now, you are not alone, so don't beat yourself up over it. But know this: God can and will give the peace and joy that you need to feel good in any situation, even if that might involve death, that being the worst things that could happen. If you are His child, you are in good hands; and there is nothing in this world that can take you from His hand; absolutely nothing...
"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39) NLT
