"The Mount of Olives"

"Jesus went unto the mount of Olives." (John 8:1 KJV)

""You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the LORD'S name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love."" (Isaiah 55:12-13 NLT)

Seemingly one of His favorite places to go, it presents the place of special events to follow. If you could know what was coming and had the knowledge of where you would perform certain events, wouldn't you frequent that place, imagining what that would be like?

The upcoming task at the cross was going to be brutal, but it was going to be worth every painful moment! This is what the Father wanted, to give His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. Because this was His Father's will, it became His passion to do everything just as the Father wanted done. This place, Mount Oilvet, was the place of honor and glory; a place that made the pain and suffering to come, well worth it!

No matter what you might be going through, if you know that you are going to be perfectly fine in the end, it should make the suffering now seem easier to withstand and your hope is enlarged for what is waiting on the other side, of whatever you are going through. No matter what it is, it becomes less of a burden, if there is something better that awaits on the other side.

There are some very pressing issues in our world today, as I am sure that everyone is quite aware. One issue in particular is really being ramped up, almost as if it has taken on a life of its own. Probably because it has some very powerful demonic forces behind it, and it is gathering momentum almost every single day.

We must pray for our children! Right now, there is a whole generation of children that are being taken into some dark and harmful place, that will be hard to pull them out of. We must pray and seek God's help and direction! There are some things, like wars, pestilence, famine, and persecution, that have the ability to strengthen us and our families; but this evil being perpetrated upon our children, is meant to destroy families!

Anywho, that is what I think about that! Be strong in the Lord and pray for your children...

"We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient." (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NLT)
