"Sufficient Evidence"

"It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true." (John 8:17 KJV)

"Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until the way of faith was revealed. Let me put it another way, The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you." (Galatians 4:23-29 NLT)

Having taken this long, you would think by know it would all be figured out; but faith is not something you can just accept, set it aside, and then think it is always ready to use, any time you want to put it into action. Some people think that it is like riding a bike, as if that means you learn to ride it, and it will always be easy to pick it back up again. No! That's not exactly what it means! Like riding a bike, is to stay upright, you must keep the bike in motion, moving forward!

Anywho! I have so many things I would like to share about faith, but playing back the things we experience, although they were spectacular in the moment, not everyone gets that same experience by what we might have felt, living through something spectacular for us. It is a lot like when you hear a certain message, one that really shakes you and brings new life, looking for the same feeling again, by the same message, over and over, most likely is not going to happen. Live in the moment, not in the past!

I don't quite know if that makes any since, or even if it fits into this example of sufficient evidence. But between me and God, I feel as though He has convinced me enough to know, MY GOD IS REAL...

"You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls. This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ's suffering and his great glory afterward. They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen." (1 Peter 1:8-12 NLT)
