"Whose Blessed"

"He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem." (S.O.S. 3:10)

We might be tangled up in this for a bit, as it is something I believe might need a little exploring into. If you think about it, and if you believe that God is All-Knowing, then you must agree with the fact that He knew before He created man, that He was also going to be saving man. Paul tells us in Colossians 1:14 -18, saying of Jesus Christ, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist: and he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
I know that is way too much information to consider talking about with one post, as is the information within the verse we have before us today. That said, there is just one point I wish to focus upon today, and it involves: "the pillars thereof of silver." As you might assume, pillars are upright and usually seen standing, unless they are knocked down; at which time they become fallen pillars.
It might seem way outside the box, (no pun intended,) but the "silver" is not just the color of the metal or what the metal might consist of; it is the description of what the metal does and what it is used for: to purchase something, to pay for something; something of worth, like of a slave: "for he is his money."
Whether you can see it that way or not, it is not just for us that He died! "Preeminence" is a word that represents superiority, surpassing all others; controlling power or influence over others. Long story short: To make man in His image, it required more than just making the man...

"What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jew only, but also of the Gentiles? As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God." (Romans 9:22-26)
