"Tis' The Season"

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of our Jesus Christ:" (1 Peter 1:6 & 7) I do believe that every church age, from the time that Jesus ascended up in a cloud, has been watching for His return, anticipating the rapture to be at any moment. I also believe that is how the Lord has meant it to be. We are to be ready, and found ready; not ready, yet found unprepared. I have heard about some things from the time of my youth that would be taking place during the Tribulation; such as one world currency, and one world governments; nations rising up against nations, people rising up against people. We shall not know the day or the hour of His return, but we can sure tell the season! All the technology that we have in this world today, such creative minds we have; yet, what is all this grand electronic splendor really good for, if it has been turned off? Turned Off!!! How is that even possible? Don't you think that someone is working on a way to do just that? If you look at the account in Genesis 11:1-9, which is the 'Tower of Babel' story, where God scattered the people; the reason that they supposed to have such power, was that they were of one voice: "And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." (Genesis 11:5 & 6) When I was in the Navy, which was over thirty two years ago, there was a plane on board the ship which I was on that they claimed had the capability to black-out cities as it flew over them. I was never able to witness this happen, but I had been inside one of the AWACS on the ship, and let me tell you, it was something else; it was like being inside a giant computer. I can only imagine what technology they have in them now! One plane flying at an altitude of 30,000 feet can cover an area over 120,000 square miles. Anyways; I can only imagine what can be done to disable our abilities to communicate together, let alone locate where anyone is, or where they have been, by not only our cellphones, but also our cars. GPS; doesn't that mean: Got People Spotted...
