"A Son Of The KING" -3

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:3-5) If you wanted to count upon anything that is going to take place in your future, then count on this! And yes I do believe that Jesus will never let me go; as strong of a point that I have made about our choice to walk away; once that we have given the Lord Jesus Christ our life, our life is no longer our own, but is in His hand. The question that we must ask ourselves, with all honesty and sincerity, is, Have I really given Him my life? If the answer is yes, then your life is no longer your own. Which, in case you were wondering, means that you are the property of Jesus Christ! More than that, we inherited a title as a prince when we became His property, becoming His son, and secured in His kingdom, for ever more. Okay then; why would there ever be a chance that we could stray away? and how is it that we are kept in His hand? I am sure that many Believers have asked that first question; some more than others. But, I am doubly sure that they had no need to ask the second!!! If you have ever been in a place where you have strayed away from Jesus, then you will know sooner or later that you cannot get that far away to be lost forever; He will not let it happen! Oh, you may get beat up and chewed up really bad, but He will get you back. Add to that, the fact that you are His son, who by rights, are a direct member of His kingdom, and what you have now is a KING that will do all that is needed to prevent a lesser king from taking you from His kingdom; PERIOD...
