"Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?"

Okay; how desperate are you to be made whole? That is really the question that God is asking! Because, there is this thing which is called 'a divided heart'; which is really a heart that is not 'whole'; which means that it is a heart that is sick, and in need of complete surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. What that means, is that if there is anything hidden in our hearts that is separating us from total surrender to Him, it must be given over to Jesus and nailed to the cross. We cannot hold onto those things which are contrary to His Will and be whole! Those things are just not compatible with the things of the Spirit, and they cause our heart to be divided; and we can not serve two masters!! But you might say, I am not serving two masters! Well, what I am saying, is that you are, if you have reserved a place in your heart for sin to take place. Because that place which you have set aside in your heart is attached to the 'old man' which is meant to be dead; and that dead man still has life; life that you have given it, and have reserved away for it's resurrection. So, what that means, is that the flesh which was to have been crucified with Christ, is now very much alive, and is waiting to be fed and nourished by sin. Which also means that we have another master, besides our Lord, who is requiring to be served and satisfied. We may not actually realize that he is there, but the more he is fed, the more powerful he will become; until we get to a point where he is taking more and requiring more than the things of the Spirit. Okay, maybe you are not seeing how, by talking a little thought of sin, and then storing it away in our heart, can actually cause all this trouble; but the reason that it does, is because there is 'sickness' involved with the permission we give ourselves to allow for this to happen. In other words; the thing that allows for us to make this compromise now, or reserved for later, is the same as sin; and sin is sin, no matter how it is materialized; but regardless of it's end result, it always starts in the heart. So, this means that it is in the heart where sin must be dealt with; which means that we must purify our hearts before the Lord; and what that means, is that we must search our hearts for anything which might be contrary to His Will, and surrender that to Him!!! And, as the Lord reveals things to us, we must be willing, with an expectant heart, to be made whole! "Behold, what manner of Love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet 'appear' what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure." (1 John 3:1-3)
