"Whom, Indeed!"

"Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?" (John 8:53 KJV)

"Consider then how great this Melchizedek was. Even Abraham, the great patriarch of Israel, recognized this by giving him a tenth of what he had taken in battle. Now the law of Moses required that the priests, who are descendants of Levi, must collect a tithe from the rest of the people of Israel, who are the descendants of Abraham. But Melchizedek, who was not a descendant of Levi, collected a tenth from Abraham. And Melchizedek placed a blessing upon Abraham, the one who had already received the promises of God. And without question, the person who has the power to give a blessing is greater than the one who is blessed." (Hebrews 7:4-7 NLT)

You might not have noticed, but there some serious things happening in our world; things that are far greater than any sort of climate change. Which, by the way, is about as stupid a thing as mankind could have dreamed up! God is the one that creates the changes and the seasons! If you really want to get right down to it, when He turns up the heat, things are not going to be that comfortable on this rock!

There, I got that off my chest. Now I need to address the obvious question that is beings asked: Who is Jesus? According to these 'spiritual giants', He has made Himself out to be something that He is not. Well, it just so happens, He is the Creator! And because He is the Creator, He can pretty much make Himself into whatever He wants!

If you had a chance to see, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, then you might recall the first time he did the part of Jesus calming the sea. He changed to script, to have Jesus answering the disciple's question, "Who art thou, that even the wind and the sea obeys you?" As he said: "I am Alpha and Omega, and these things recognize me as their Creator!"

Kelly told Gavin, "That was not what Jesus was about, He was humble." I hope you can maybe see just a small part of what that actually means; because the weakest, gentlest part of who God is, is stronger and greater than the world could ever know...

"We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us. We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that you may fully share in our joy." (1 John 1:1-4 NLT)
