"Agreeableness"

 "He that is of God hearth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." (John 8:47 KJV)

  "But you belong to God, my dear children. You have won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world's viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception." (1 John 4:4-6 NLT) 

 Getting closer by the minute, is my perception of this current world and culture! There are just too many things that are taking place all at once, so it has got to be winding up; something is getting ready happen. Besides all of that, there is a peace that I feel about all that is happening. God is still on the throne and we, His children, have nothing to fear! 

 How does that relate to this verse? Well, if you are wondering where we draw the line of Truth, it is by the Word of God: if God has said it, then that settles it, there is nothing more to argue about; and there is no reason to have doubt! Basically, we agree with everything that God says whether we understand it or not, if God said it, then it is truth, period! 

 It isn't really a matter of them not hearing God's word, but more a matter of them not being in agreement with His word, therefore they decline to even listen. Besides that, having not believed that Jesus is the Christ, they are not able to understand or even see the Kingdom of God; just as Jesus told Nicodemus, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) 

 If you belong to God's Kingdom, then you are in agreement with the things of God's Kingdom; if you are not part of God's Kingdom, then you are in agreement with the kingdom of this world. There are only those two options; there is no way to have both! Although many think that it is okay to try and live on the fence; that fence they think is there, has never existed. 

 There is a dividing line, A Flaming Sword! It has always been there, from the very beginning, as it was the Word of God! When we do not obey God's word, then we are not on a fence, but are not even able to get close enough to the fence, in order to get on top of it. That said, the Word can make us complete; just as if we had obeyed every word...

"Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the Scripture, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder." (Matthew 21:42-44 KJV)
