"This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived and they will believe these lies. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NLT)
The way I see it, we are in the final stretch of this great building up to the End Times. If you know your Bible prophecy of these times, then you should be aware that there must be the establishment of a one world order to make the coming things to take place. We are in that phase of the world's positioning into that alignment.
Whether or not you can understand what is taking place, you must be a believer and follower of Christ in order to escape the Great Tribulation. I truly believe that there will be a great multitude saved during that seven-year period, but those that will be saved are going to give up their lives in the process. Those that are deceived, as Paul mentions in 2 Thessalonians, will have already determined in their hearts to follow the Evil One, and their minds will not see the truth, but will follow the lies they are told, no matter how strange or unreal they might become.
Isn't it fascinating how the devil likes to test his ambitions before they come to pass. Almost as if it is a test-run to just show off how easy it is to cause mankind to be deceived and follow almost anything that is said or portrayed in the news. When they have a perfect plan, they like to put forth some sort of sign, just so they can pretend that they can prophecy what is going to happen.
A little word of warning, just in case you are thinking you will wait until the Tribulation in order to make Jesus the Lord of your life: If you can't do it now, while your life is being spared, what makes you think you will do it then, while your life is being taken?
The Serpent's Seed is that which enjoys evil! If we enjoy evil, participate ii it, or condone it, then we are on the wrong side, having our hearts aligned with the devil. You know that saying, "Check yourself, before you wreck yourself!" Well, it is about time we make sure that our bags are packed and we are ready to go! Get right or be left...
"But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames.
