"That We See God's Wonder"

"That they go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; these see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep." (Psalms 107:23-24)

It is pretty obvious that God has no lack of imagination and attention to detail; if He can design these bodies which so quickly perish to be so different and yet so similar, imagine what the things that are eternal must look like. Over the last several days I have heard several different messages about the complexity of the human body. At first I really thought nothing of it, like that was just some good information or that it just so happened; but this morning I realized that it was all God. You have got to realize something about my pattern of listening to these messages; they are bits a pieces of different messages that are caught between appointments. As I travel from one inspection to another, I am able to listen to different pastors give messages on the radio, mostly just ten or fifteen minute portions of any one message. Over these last several days I have heard messages about the amount of thought our brains produce and gather over the average lifetime, the amount of blood pumped through our veins in a single day, and the unique and complex differences of our DNA. These bodies we take for granted are so complex and diverse, the medical and science communities are still being amazed with new discoveries and things they need to learn over and over again. Just when they think they have something figured out, there is a new discovery that makes them have to rethink everything that they discovered before. God's design is not all that simple to comprehend; but it is easy to see that it all was designed and created by God, of that there is no denying...

""Can you direct the movement of the stars -binding the cluster of the Pleiades or loosening the cords of Orion? Can you direct the sequence of the seasons or guide guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens? Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth? "Can you shout to the clouds and make it rain? Can you make lightning appear and cause it to strike as you direct? Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind?"" (Job 38:31-36) NLT
