"The Man of God's Right Hand"

"Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself." (Psalms 80:17) If you don't get it by now, then maybe it's time to revisit the cross; because there is no way we are making it into heaven without Jesus! What is wrong with everyone; have they lost their minds? I am talking about some of our spiritual leaders, those that are the ones who are the voice of truth; or at least they are be taken as such. I really don't now what to think anymore, except that we must keep our eyes on Jesus, and never put our trust in man. Who were the ones responsible for having Jesus nailed to the cross? Wasn't it the religious leaders, those that were in charge of the Temple of God? I guess you could say that they were doing their part. But what kind of heart would do such a thing against someone who did nothing wrong? I tell you this, envy has a way of turning people into monsters. Am I saying they were all motivated by envy? Not all, I'm sure that some were just misguided by the devil; but most of them, especially those with the most power, were very much envious of Jesus. I truly believe that we are very close to the Lord's return, and I really don't want to be left behind; I don't want to even be shamefully taken. When the Lord comes back for His church, I want to be ready and found doing exactly what the Lord wants me to be doing. Not a believer yet? I don't mean a believer in Jesus, I mean a believer that His return is very soon. We might not know the day or the hour, but we can be sure of the season! Isn't it strange that seasons repeat themselves? I mean everyday is different from any other day, but you know when it's winter or summer or fall. I guess what I am trying to say, is that we need to be very careful who we are listening to, especially people in power. Power seems to have a way of making people feel powerful. Go figure...
""I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it's here now, when the dead will hear my voice -the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live. The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son. And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man. Don't be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God's Son, and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment. I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will."" (John 5:24-30) NLT
