"Guiding The Way" -2

"For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death." (Psalms 48:14) Actually, if you get right down to it, even the mistakes that we make can be learning tools for the hope we have within us; then again, what is to be considered a mistake? I don't think I want to go down this rabbit hole; but there is nothing that we can do that catches God by surprise, so who's to say that He has not planned for what is ahead before we have actually gotten there? Take David's sin with Bathsheba as an example: David's bloodline was established when, before or after the sin was committed? It was seven years before David sinned that God had promised David "thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee", which was right after David had brought the Holy Chest into Jerusalem. God also told David that his son would build a temple, that son was Solomon, who was his second child from Bathsheba; the first one died. I guess what I am getting at, is that God really does have our back; even when we screw up, He has "set a table before our enemies" takes on a whole new meaning, because the meal is prepared already, the menu is already chosen, because it has been chosen by God, and it is based upon what He already knows. Does this mean we do not have a choice? No, everything we do is about choice; our world is based upon choices made, but God has already established His plans based upon our choices that we are going to make; so chew on that for a while and see if you can figure that out! Anywho; if God is our God, then we have absolutely nothing to worry about! That is what I am going with, and that is my story... "O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by Me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals of fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:11-17)
