"Perfection In Jesus" -2

"Oh how great is Thy goodness, which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee; which Thou hast wrought for them that trust in Thee before the sons of men." (Psalms 31:19) Marvel is the only word that comes to mind, because it touches upon how amazed I become thinking about how good God is towards me; even in my stupid moments, He is like a Father that never doubts I will always return, and never gives up waiting! If you have been following my blog for any length of time, then you must have realized by now how scattered I can sometimes be; some days I just can't seem to make the dots connect; and then again, there are some dots that are too large to be connected to anything but perfection, and this is one of those dots! As with that strange verse from Isaiah that I closed with yesterday; taken at first glance, it appears to be one of judgement or of casting down; but looked at from the point of need, it becomes a verse of hope in something that is far more powerful than even your darkest moments; even moments where your understanding has been darkened, there is still hope, if you just surrender everything to Jesus; because in Christ there is victory, even in our defeat; and dare I say, especially in our defeat!!! That was Paul's point he was trying to make, and one that is just so hard for us to grasp, because it involves so much greatness, more than we can even begin to fully comprehend. But, the beginning of understanding involves death; death to the old man which was born in the bondage of sin, and a raised up new life that is far above that of the old, because it has it's life in Christ Jesus, which is now seated at the right hand of the Father, and is making intersection for those stupid moments! It becomes something of a travesty when we fail to understand how simple God has made it for us, because we spend our days not able to figure it out; when He actually never intended for us to try and figure out how He makes it happen, but to just trust in Him to get it done: and getting it done He has, in a fashion that is beyond belief... "For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:20-23)
