"God Commands Our Trust!"

"But I trusted in Thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God." (Psalms 31:14) It's pretty much a given, seeing that God is, was, and always will be, we really do not have much of a choice, because sooner or later every knee will bow at His feet and confess Him as LORD! I prefer to do it now and enjoy the benefits of knowing He is in control of my life! When I say that God commands our trust, I do not mean that He makes it a commandment, as in, Thou shalt trust Me; although, He obviously could, and He could righteously do it! But I am talking about the fact that He is God, just in and of itself, is plenty enough for us to make it a must; after all, where else are you going to turn for help? God only needs to wink His eye in our direction, and all is well or done; which ever the case, He does so without any effort at all; and yet, how many times have we looked upon our situations as impossible to overcome? Although it might not be rocket science, I would gather to say, it is God science; which is the systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations based upon who God has said that He is; which is pretty much that old saying that says, "God said it, I believe it, and that settles it!" Our biggest problem in keeping this type of focus and making every form of test a building experience, is that we sometimes put way too much focus of our temporary tent; giving something that is temporary a more important position than it is meant to have, we begin expressing way to much trust in those things needed to sustain it, and far too little trust in the One who gives it life! I know, that might sound pretty much like it makes too much sense, but the result of doing so is a little thing they call, WORRY; and just in case you did not know this, worry does nothing to help your situation; and in more times than not, worry results in sickness and even death. So then, why worry in the first place? Why do we even waste our energy that it takes to worry, when we can use that same energy to praise God, and then feel better in the process??? I mean really; isn't that what you really are wanting to feel, better..."Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? Is it not a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest? And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the Book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. The meek shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 29:15-19)
