"No; Really, He Does!"

"My times are in Thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me." (Psalms 31:15) Not that I need to prove anything at all, but just in case you were wondering how God takes the simple things and overwhelms the complex things in our lives, just look at the example given with the "walls of Jericho"; something that took only faith to trust in God, and to do what He said, no matter how strange it might have sounded, and then watch Him work! It really, just so happens, that God does command our trust! That is, if you truly want to see Him perform a miracle in your life, then you are going to have to trust Him!!! If you think I am wrong, then what result would have taken place if they stopped marching around those walls after the sixth time? If you truly think about it, it really comes down to trusting Him, and nothing else; not your abilities, nor even your inabilities, just His awesome power to overcome any thing that overwhelms us; no matter how big and powerful in might appear to be, it's no match for God! God is God, therefore He commands our trust because He has said that we must trust Him, and never lean upon our own understanding, because we just don't see things the same way that He does, nor can we even be expected to, so don't even let that be a concern; just trust in Him, blindly, and with no idea of what He is actually going to do, but knowing that He is God and that He loves you! Oh ya, you might have thought I was going to leave that out of the reasons that we must trust Him; but it is the foundation of our trust in Him, because it is His love for us that assures us He will always be there when we need Him; no matter how difficult and tragic our situation might appear, we are always in God's hand, and so is our time here on this earth; which means, as long as God wants you to be here, your going to be sticking around, whether you like it or not, your not going anywhere until God says so..."And He discovered the coverings of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest. Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool. And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall. Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago. And in that day did the LORD GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth: and behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we shall die. And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the LORD GOD of hosts." (Isaiah 22:8-14)
