ISAIAH 55:6 - "REASON"

"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word; That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:20 & 21) Listen Carefully: "The Bride Groom Cometh !" There are many that will put off receiving Christ into their hearts until that eleventh hour; this is not good; and many there are and will be, that never receive Him. However, there is actually something that is far worse than this, believe it or not; and that is those that have received Him in their heart already, but keep putting off getting it right. I am talking about those that profess Christ as Lord, but yet have not made Him Lord of their life. They are waiting for that eleventh hour to surrender completely to Him; and actually think that they can know when that hour will be. I don't think that will be possible! Jesus said that we would not know the hour of His coming, but that we would discern the season; Guess What? That season is now!!! I know what your thinking, and it is quoted in 2 Peter 3:4, "Where is the promise of His coming?" Yes it is true, for centuries and centuries many have been saying, "The time is at hand"; but why should it matter when He is coming back, because even if He is not, right away coming back, Guess What Else?; You will be departing! One minor detail that gets looked over a lot: "It only takes a second to say Goodbye!". Can you say with all certainty that if you were taken out today, that you are ready; or are you currently living between times of surrender? Yes, I know, this is really tearing at my heart, because it seems that we seem to be facing that canyon wall over and over again. It is kind of hard to grasp what is going on here, but try and look at the bigger picture: Each and every time you surrender your life, you will be sucked into the crack; but over a period of time, you will find yourself back at that canyon wall, looking again for that crack. Remember, we are talking about walking in God's Perfect Will. You might recall, if you have been following this from back in Ephesians, that I believe there are two different kinds of Christians, or two different levels to walk in. There are those that are content with just walking in His forgiveness, and really have no desire for anything else; and then there are those that want to serve Him with all of their hearts. Now what I am describing here, is how those that want to serve Him with all of their hearts, can actually do so, by walking in His Perfect Will. You see, there is a key to serving God with all of your heart: All Means All! That being said, there is a big problem in the church today; and it is not good. The problem is that many who say they are serving God, and even think that they are, are not serving Him with all of their heart; but instead are serving themselves more than Him. Okay, I know, I am being judgemental; but this must be said; and because I am where I am, I can say it; so go ahead a throw something at your computer. This has to be said, because what happens in the process of not being totally surrendered, is really, really not good. The first thing that happens is within your own heart: you move along within the church, and maybe even into the highest of leadership roles; but you are really self serving. In other words: the real power of God is never experienced in your life, because you have not totally surrendered to Him; and because you have not totally surrendered to Him, many of the choices you make, are actually made towards the flesh, and not towards God. Secondly, there are many people that are watching your life; expecting to see God do something to prove that you are in Him, and that He is in you. Unfortunately, because there is no consistent power in your life, they find it hard to tell you from the rest of the world; and when this is the case, it is really, really, really not good. "And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world." (John 17:22-24)
