"Unbelievable!"

"And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?" (John 9:19 KJV)

"Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind: "Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them."" (Job 38:1-3 NLT)

Well, it might not be as clear to see as you thought; nothing really is, because there is always some other work that is going on, which, if it could be seen, it would totally blow our minds trying to figure out what it was we were looking at. Some think these Jews were questioning the amount of blindness that their son was born with; or if they might have made a mistake, as if to ask, 'Are you sure he was blind?'

I have got to make anyone aware, just in case you didn't know: Everyone will be judged by God! We will all stand before God in one case or another: those that died in their sins will not be judged for sin, because Jesus died for those sins, all sin; but what they will be judged for, is for not believing in God's Son and the forgives that was offered to them. Those books are opened to prove that they were guilty and that they had no excuse to not ask for forgiveness!

We, on the other hand, have the honor to be judged for our works, by none other than Christ Jesus, Himself! I am pretty sure that He will be judging us by what we did with what He gave us; some have been given more than others; but all have been given the same portion, based upon their abilities. There really is no respect over one or the other, we all each are respected the same.

I guess what it all comes down to, if I had to make a guess: How much did you believe? And was it enough to make a change in your life? Something to think about, if you are into thinking about little things like that?

By the way, we were in James 3 last night, and Pastor Nathan was illustrating the power that a little bit in a horses' mouth, or a little helm on a big ship, can cause them to move in any direction. (James 3:3-4) Even so, even those of us with little faith, as long as our faith is in Jesus Christ, there is no limit to what Christ can do in us, if we allow Him to use us!

Dwight L. Moody said, "The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to him. By God's help, I aim to be that man." As it turns out, as he was passing, he realized that he was not that man! Oddly enough, when Jesus judges those that are His, many will not even know all that they did, saying, "Lord, when did I do this or that?"

Even the little things count! As unbelievable as that might seem, even just a smile can go a mile...

"But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness." (James 3:17-18 NLT)
