"Rule and Judging"

"Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:" (Psalms 148:11)

Maybe there needs to be something to be said about respect, as in, who it is that has the final word. That might not appear all that important to some, especially those that are higher up in the chain of command; but whoever it is, no matter how powerful they might think they are, they are still going to answer to the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords! That really goes a long way, that thing referred to as respect; if there is one thing that each and every one of these cases of people have in common, it is to have respect in some form or fashion; if that is, they want to be prosperous and respected also. Of all those that might have some form power, there is absolutely no comparison to the power of God, who not only has the power to take your life, but has the power to cast your soul into hell; no one else has that form of power, not even close! (Matthew 10:28) "I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world, then stand with the world and be judged by God!" That is not just a quote from Grace, the character in God's Not Dead 2, but an actual way of living, no matter what you are being faced with. You might have heard, "Break my heart, for what breaks yours," but this is more than just a catchy phrase or a slogan, or even a part of a favorite song; that is what having respect for God is, and why it is something to put into practice. If you stop and think about it, it broke God's heart to have His Son die upon the cross; the result of His death is what gave Him joy, but the process was seriously heartbreaking! Jesus too, endured the cross; which does not mean He enjoyed it, but that He tolerated it and suffered trough it, regardless of the amount of pain and ridicule they might have placed upon Him! Now, you think about what that pain and suffering was for, and then ask yourself whether or not sin should break your heart also; because it was our sins that put Him on that cross, each and every single one of them! Isn't it interesting that Jesus died of a ruptured heart? When they came to break His legs to speed up His death, He was already dead; and when they punctured His side with the spear, blood and water came out, signifying that His heart ruptured: He died of a broken heart! You want to talk about respect: Every single knee will bow, to the Ruler and Judge! And know you know why...

"Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. For thou art great, and doest wondrous things; thou art God alone. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell." (Psalms 86:8-13)
