"Confirming The Truth"

"He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass." (Psalms 148:6)

HE is Risen! Yes, there is no way to deny or change what He has done; though many have tried to do just that, for thousands of years. It is still provable, as much as it was back when it happen. If you doubt that is a fact, then I challenge you to search out the truth on your own and find out for yourself what the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior really means, and why it is so important. You know, there have been people throughout the ages that have searched for and tried to find the hidden secret to eternal life; without Jesus, there is no possibility of finding it, but once you have Him in your heart, you know that you have it! Oh, there are times of doubt and periods we go through that we question our security and our salvation; but who has changed in those times, because God has always kept His promises! I find that there is an easy answer to doubt: When in doubt, check it out! Those are the times when we carefully consider what it all means; even weighing the options and settling things in our hearts and minds. There is absolutely nothing wrong in that; in fact, God encourages us to make our calling and our election sure; because the more we go after God, the more He goes after us, and in a very good way! There are so many different ways that God can use and touch our lives; but the truth will always point to Jesus Christ: He is the beginning and the end; the question and the answer are both all about Him. Case in point: Where did life begin? God said, "Let there be Light!" John, speaking of John the Baptist, said, "The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe." (John 1:7) There, is a small little tiny bit of a clue, because it is not until we come to the Light that we can actually believe; just like that tiny little mustard seed of faith, that little seed needs to surrender and die, before it can become alive and grow; to grow large enough that it becomes like a tree; a tree large enough, the birds can come and rest upon it! You know what birds represent? Many things, that is for sure; but the one thing they are know for is picking up seeds and carrying them away; eroding the truth, taking away little pieces of truth, little by little. We must stay in the Word, because without it becoming a constant part of our life, we will loose faith. You may not know this, but most of the men that are pastors, are committed to being a pastor because it keeps them in God's Word. It just becomes a committed discipline, and for the most part, it actually works! Paul admonishes Timothy, saying, "Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." (2 Timothy 2:1-3) Any time that Paul uses, "Christ Jesus," he is referring to the Resurrected and Glorified Jesus Christ! HE is Risen, Indeed...

"Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?""
(John 11:25-26)
