"Settled In..."

"The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved." (Psalms 93:1)
No, I am not stuck; this is just the beginning of a very interesting time, spent on a very important verse. I saw a quick little headline on my homepage this morning, it asked the question, "Was there time before the Big Bang?" I had a little chuckle, because that's exactly leaning towards what God has put upon my heart this morning. How about we settle this right here and now! Before there was time, there was God! I had a very arrogant painting contractor come to my home yesterday, as I am getting some bids on getting the house painted. I happened to mention the ordeal I had with my son last year, and then concluded that he was in a much better place. To which, the painter answered, "Yay, if there is such a place." Instantly, my mother-in-law shot back, "Oh, there is, believe me!" And the painter replied, "Believe you?" If you have not settled this in your hearts by now, then you need to, and like right away! It needs to be more than just a hope that it's right, it needs to be real, more real than life itself. All that I can say, is to have no doubt, whatsoever! How in the world do I do that, you might ask? With His WORD! Look, here is the thing that matters more than everything else: God loves you, and He never changes! All this other stuff is going to change; you, yourself are going to change; but God, He is always the same, and He never changes. If you want something that you can hold onto for dear life and never let go, then there is only One! More importantly than that, He wants you to want Him! He wants you to reach up to Him! What more could He do to prove His love and desire for you? The Father gave His Son, the Son gave His life, and the Holy Spirit lives within us; there is nothing else He could have given us, but His very Word; which by the way, He has also done, written down over thousands of years, and never contradicting itself, ever. There is your proof! If you want to challenge it's authenticity, then be my quest; take it apart, verse by verse; examine the prophecies to see if they were right or wrong; line them all up, and measure the odds. You might just fine yourself having settled all your questions, including the question of your own salvation...
"Long ago God spoke many times and in many different ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names. For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus: "You are my son. Today I have become your Father." God also said, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son." And when he brought his supreme Son into the world, God said, "Let all of God's angels worship him." Regarding the angels, he says, "He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire." But to the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice. You love justice and hate evil. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than anyone else." He also says to the Son, "In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing. You will fold them up like a cloak and discard them like old clothing. But you are always the same; you will live forever.""
(Hebrews 1:1-12) NLT
