"Clueless!"

"We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is." (John 9:29 KJV)

"Because God's children are human beings - made of flesh and blood - the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying." (Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT)

Here is a little test, if you are interested in testing your faith? Do you fear death? Are you afraid of dying, or do you see death as an open door? Not that it makes you a child of God if you feel that way; but if you are a child of God, death is not going to be your end, but a glorious new beginning!

That said, I only have one fear about death, which is really not a fear, but more about a wish; because I wish not to die before my wife, because I don't know of anyone else that will take care over her, as much as I care for her. Basically, that is my prayer! Besides asking God to heal her, I am continually asked God to watch over her and to place His angels around her, protecting her.

I heard a message yesterday that reminded me of something else about Abel's sacrifice: that Abel was looking towards the One that would come, the Seed of his mother, Eve, that would destroy the power of the evil one, that Serpent! You must realize something about these judgments that God specified to each, all three of those who were co-conspirators in the fall: everything God said would happen, did happen, just as God said that it would. So, the part about the Seed of the woman crushing the head of that Serpent, was real also; real enough to look forward to it happening, just as God said that it would!

Besides all of that: if these Jewish fellows had really been paying attention to God's word, as much as they might have paid attention to Law, maybe they wouldn't have been so clueless and have figured out what role they had in God's mighty hand of redemption! We all have a reason, a place in God's masterpiece, each and every one of us! No life is without a purpose, because every life comes from God...

"Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother's womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things." (Ecclesiastes 11:5 NLT)
