"Jesus Affirms His Deity" - Too

"Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?" (John 9:35 KJV)

"And this is not all that is meaningless in our world. In this life, good people are often treated as though they were wicked, and wicked people are often treated as though they were good. This is so meaningless!" (Ecclesiastes 8:14 NLT)

"Good day," as they say in some parts of the world; a simple greeting to set people in a better mood and hopefully brighten up their day! "Affirm" is a rather interesting word, as it can mean a lot, in so many areas of life. It can state a fact, uphold or defend, accept or confirm, make a formal declaration; it can even be, to offer someone emotional support or encouragement!

We really need to understand how important it is to know God! No just to believe that there is a God, but to actually know Him, to understand Him, to be able to defend His honor and what He has done for us! Excuse my excitability, but I have to share my heart!

I heard Pastor Jack share something yesterday that made me take notice of something rather easy to lose sight of, as he spoke about the thing that changed his life and turned his life around. It was from the Book of Revelation 20:11-13, "The Judgment Day."

If you are familiar with this Text, then you should be aware that the Judgment is on the dead, meaning that those that are being judged are dead, have died, or, in laymen's terms: They do not have LIFE! "Dost thou believe on the Son of God?" Because if you don't, then you do not have LIFE! Basically that was Pastor Jack's awaking moment, as that Fact struck him hard, affirming that he needed to be changed, like right then and there!

When John says, "This is the true God, and eternal life," he is talking about Jesus Christ, that Jesus is the only way to LIFE! In this life, everything is meaningless, because this is not True Life; this is all about death, in case you haven't noticed! Everyone is waiting to die, going to die, or already dead!

But there is Life! Real Life is available through Jesus Christ! God is very good...

"We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of Life. This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us. We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy." (1 John 1:1-4 NLT)
