"Getting Real"

"All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them." (John 10:8 KJV)

"Come, wild animals of the field! Come, wild animals of the forest! Come and devour my people! For the leaders of my people - the LORD'S watchmen, his shepherds - are blind and ignorant. They are like silent watchdogs that give no warning when danger comes. They love to lie around, sleeping and dreaming. Like greedy dogs, they are never satisfied. They are ignorant shepherds, all following their own path and intent on personal gain. "Come," they say, "let's get some wine and have a party. Let's all get drunk. Then tomorrow we'll do it again and have an even bigger party!"" (Isaiah 56:9-12 NLT)

As much as I want to try and be silent, it hurts my heart to see where the world is going. But we know by the signs of these current times, it's all happening just as the Bible says; we just can hardly believe it is happening in our generation!

Let me get something off of my chest, because I've heard what is being said, but it sounds as if most people talking have been skirting around the real truth. We had a president that was not expected to win an election, for reasons that only God really knows, it happened, none the less. He was not part of the system, nor did he want to be!

It is because of that; he was considered to be illegitimate, unfit for office, and became the enemy of all those that ran or were part of the established way and order. Basically, he had and has no rights, as far as the establishment is concerned. Even though he was a President, all rights that were given to previous men that held that office, do not apply.

If you don't agree with what I just said, that's perfectly fine, because it really doesn't matter. But hear this: once you get away with anything, then you will be emboldened to get away with more, and more; and soon enough, you feel that you can do whatever you want. If you don't think we are there; you are either not paying attention, or you have become totally blind to the truth.

That said, this is pretty much the point that I believe Jesus is making, but on a whole different level! Yes, there were many before Him, and after Him, as well as there will be more coming after now, that will act as if they represent God. They will feel and think that they have been empowered by God, but they will be only about serving their own personal gain.

It will always end up the same, as it always has! Once you have the power, the power is never enough, because there is always One who is greater! The real sheep won't listen, but they also don't get much chance to speak, either. And when they do, they usually aren't treated very fair for doing so...

"Don't be surprised if you see a poor person being oppressed by the powerful and if justice is being miscarried throughout the land. For every official is under orders from higher up, and matters of justice get lost in red tape and bureaucracy. Even the king milks the land for his own profit!" (Ecclesiastes 5:8-9 NLT)
