"Behold Him!"

"And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee." (John 9:27 KJV)

"For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT)

Some days you just need to take some time to think about what He has done, making it personal and real in your life! I get that we sometimes are overworked and trying to keep up; but a little time needs to be set aside to really get in touch with your Creator, at least to have some heart-to-heart moments together.

I was reminded of that this morning as I was reading some verses from Ecclesiastes where Solomon shares about not waiting until it is too late to care anymore, or when you are too old for it to really matter. Remember your Creator, he says: "Remember him before the door to life's opportunities is closed and the sound of work fades." (Ecclesiastes 12:4 NLT)

The word, "sound," is not about the sound of work, such as hammers and saws, or other such things that we might associate with what work sounds like; it is more about that which motivates us to move and be excited to do a work, like a calling, a reason that is somehow ringing loud and clear within your heart!

But, before you might think that time has come and you are too late, think again! As long as you have breath, your work here is not done! One more reason to spend some time with your Creator, to turn up the volume on the sound of work, which then, opens doors to life's opportunities...

"Pay attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct." (Galatians 6:4-5 NLT)
