"The Son Giveth" - Too

"For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world." (John 6:33 KJV)

"May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue from this evil world in which we live. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen." (Galatians 1:3-5 NLT)

I know that you probably don't want to hear this, but the little story about that floating Ax Head, it has all the elements of the Gospel Message; in a very strange sort of way, God has a way of showing the Way, even in the midst of something we could otherwise not understand. Think about these two factors: the black hole, with the cross in the middle, and laminin, a cell adhesion molecule; both of which we could have never seen, without the help of lenses that provided the way.

As I have discovered, there are things we cannot see, until God allows us to see them; that pretty much counts in every single area of life; even within our very own hearts! Which reminds me of something I really need to address about that First Love thing: passion is not just a feeling, as if you can make it happen or cause it to become stronger; it is based upon something you believe in and know that you need, with all of your heart.

The Life we have been given in Christ Jesus, whether you can accept it or not, it is not our own! We are dependent upon Christ, to live in the Life He gives; and we cannot live in the Life without abiding in Jesus Christ, the Savior of our soul. Please help me Jesus to see you more clearly and to hold on more dearly...

"Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in the days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed by God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." (Hebrews 11:1-3 NLT)
