"Seriously"

"He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes." (Psalms 147:16)

If I have not shared this before, I need to share it now, because this made such a profound impact upon my life. Within the first week or so after I got saved, I spent almost all of my free time putting together a crossword puzzle that had JESUS spelt out up and down the page in the squares that did not have a letter. It was really quite amazing, but it is very similar in comparison to this blog; because it was mostly for me and my growth in the Lord; and whatever someone else received from it, I really did not actually know. I think I recall that the across questions were all from the Old Testament, and the up and down questions were from the New Testament; but each and every question was about Jesus; from every single reference I could find, about anything pertaining to Him, whether it be person, animal, or any other thing. You would be totally amazed how much there is, because it really didn't take very long to have that puzzle completed; two weeks at the most, if even that. I was fascinated by the fact that Jesus is God! After having been raised on and off through the J.W. cult, I was more than moved by this revelation; the more I dug into the Word, the more I discovered the truth that had been hidden from me over all of those years. Not only did I have a passion for sharing this awareness, but God allowed me to be able to witness to several guys that were connected to someone outside that were leaders in that organization; at least one of them I knew of got saved, the others were just a short encounters. Why I am sharing this, is because this verse is all about the ministry of sharing God's Word! I know I have shared on this before; but for at least ten years, maybe more, I was trying to study and discover as much as I could about Isaiah 55. I looked for commentaries and any sort of writings I could find that might have something in them to confirm what I felt was being said, and how much I believed it was about the amazing power there is in sharing the Gospel. It is never too late to make a difference; so if you might feel as though life has passed you by, as long as there is still breath in your lungs, you can be a vessel that God will use! As far as we know, maybe it only needs to be one person; just one person can be enough to make a very big difference...

"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall my word be that goeth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:9 - 11)
