"No Comparison" -Too

"He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names." (Psalms 147:4)

Well, so much for snowboarding; the park is closed for the rest of the season, due to health concerns. As far as this title goes, it was meant to be about us, all of us that are all part of God's family; all that are part of Abraham's seed! We might not always get it, but we are special! And there are many more special people that have yet to realize who they are; but God knows them, by name! I remember something the Lord showed me, while I was putting together a study on Genesis 15. God told Abraham about how his seed would be strangers in a land that was not theirs; and how they would be afflicted and would be slaves for four hundred years. Up to that point, Abraham had his seed pictured as stars in heaven; so many stars, that they could not be numbered: but after God had spoken those words, the description of what they would go through, they became etched upon his heart, and they put on flesh! This is our time to shine, you and I; to show those that do not know Him, that there is more to this life than what can be seen; that there is hope for the hopeless and even the sick and dying can have hope; because this is not the end, but the beginning, for those that believe...

"After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house mine heir. And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness." (Genesis 15:1-6)
