"The Victory is His! -2

"His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed." (Psalms 72:17) Just in case you doubt that He is God; or just in case that you think it is not important that He was, as stupid as that might sound, you should consider your options. Take into consideration your risk at being wrong, and then compare that to the chance that you change your mind. Unfortunately you cannot just change your mind without first changing your heart; and in order to change your heart, Jesus must enter in as LORD! I understand the skepticism, because I once was there myself; but you have got to ask Jesus to come into your heart and then study for yourself what the Bible says. Once you have been born again, you will no longer doubt the truth, and the Holy Spirit will guide you through all Scripture. Now, before I forget again, beside the fact that only God is perfect, there is the issue of winning; something else that only God could have done! You might not think it is that big of a deal, but if Jesus was just a man, then He would have been born a sinner just like you and me. That is why the virgin birth is such an important part of the Christian doctrine; if Christ was not born of a virgin, then He would not have broken the curse. One of the goals of the devil was to prevent Jesus from being born; just the fact that He was born, was a victory in itself. I get the "Swirling Eddies" like you wouldn't believe just thinking about the way God fashioned everything together; every little detail of creation, every little piece of the puzzle, there is nothing that He has left to chance, it is all precision and accuracy through and through. I know that there are some things in the Bible that are hard to understand, but we must understand that God's ways of doing things sometimes don't make sense to us; you just cannot compare our way of thinking to that of an All-Knowing God; we only see one small little piece of the puzzle, and you cannot ever begin to understand what the puzzle represents by just one little piece. I can't wait to get to heaven, because I know that there is going to be so many answers revealed, once I get there. But one answer that I will not need answered is who Jesus is, was, and always will be... "Then I saw heaven opened, and a white house was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for He judges fairly and wages a righteous war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on His head were many crowns. A name was written on Him that no one understood except Himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and His title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. On His robe at His thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords." (Revelation 19:11-16) NLT
