"Taken Into Account"

"Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: Thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: Thou preparest them corn, when Thou hast so provided for it." (Psalms 65:9) Duly noted, that might have been one of my weirdest postings; but when you think about it, insurmountable is the best word for trying to describe how difficult it is to undo what God has done; it's not possible! The only explanation that there can be, is that it was never fully completed in the first place! For what ever reason, whether it was your heart did not receive Him, or the world was really where your heart belonged; true transformation requires giving your life to Christ, it is not just about asking Him to come into your heart. That said, as I mentioned before, there are several different levels, or whatever you wish to call them, to salvation; some of us are just stronger than others, and some of us require very unique circumstances in order for God's work to be complete in us; but He will complete it! If you have truly given your life to Christ, which is what is required if you really believe that He is Lord, then there is no turning back; absolutely no way can it be undone; once you have been born again, you are a child of God for good! Now, I can't speak for what your eternity will look like in heaven if you have not fought the good fight, but I do have a general idea that there are certain levels in heaven also; some for those that served Jesus, and some for those that served themselves. I would relate this verse to one of my favorite chapters in the Bible, Isaiah 55; verses 10 & 11 say, "For as the rain cometh down, and the show from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Just so you know, God saved you, you did not save yourself! You might think that you had something to do with it, but He found you, He called you, He softened your heart, He came into that heart, and He made you open your mouth to say what you said; it was all His doing... "Well then, has God failed to fulfill His promise to Israel? No, for not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God's people! Being descendants of Abraham doesn't make them truly Abraham's children. For the Scriptures say, "Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted," though Abraham had other children, too. This means that Abraham's physical descendants are not necessarily children of God. Only the children of the promise are considered to be Abraham's children. For God had promised, "I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son." This son was our ancestor Isaac. When he married Rebekah, she gave birth to twins. But before they were born, before they had done any good or bad, she received a message from God. (This message shows that God chooses people according to His own purposes; He calls people, but not according to their good or bad works.) She was told, "Your older son will serve your younger son." In the words of the Scriptures, "I loved Jacob, but I rejected Esau."" (Romans 9:6-13)
