"Don't Be Fooled"

"Come and see the works of God: He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men." (Psalms 66:5) You know, just because our God is patient or long-suffering towards us, does not mean that He does not mean business, because He does! Enough is enough when it comes to how much God will tolerate when it comes to those that just do whatever they want, because He is just, He just can tolerate so much; and then, as Pastor Mike said, "He is going to get up off the couch!" I really don't want to be here after the church has been taken; I don't know about you, but I tend to agree with the 'Pretribers' on this one, "Get right, or get left", because you only have one time to be wrong on that belief, so just be ready! It might not be a major doctrinal issue, but it is one that you should be prepared either way; besides that, some people think they are going to get serious about God after the rapture happens, which really does not make any sense at all. Why would you think that your heart would get softer, when the Bible says that men's hearts will get harder during the tribulation? Something else I find to be a little interesting, is that the rainbow is something that is created by light; or as Wikipedia puts it, "A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky." Not much more I wish to say about that, except, I would be careful what you choose for representing your movement, because it just might become the source of your destruction; I'm just saying. Besides, His own works praise Him, not sinfulness! We are the ones with the sinful nature that like to take and turn things around, taking what God has made for good and using it for whatever we want, however we want. That word "terrible" is something of a homonym, in that it has multiple meanings; it means awesome if you are on the right side, and dreadful if you are not...
"But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will; set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God's righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight." (2 Peter 3:10-14) NLT
