"Seeking Jesus"

"Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?" (John 7:11 KJV)

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13 KJV)

Maybe today is a good day to start talking about Jesus! I mean, if you really want to start getting into a conversation about misinformation and wokeness, it might as well be about the real stuff that matters the most: Salvation of the soul! All this other stuff is going to pass away; here today, gone tomorrow; but what really matters is where we go when this life is over!

Besides that, there are far more reasons to share about Jesus, right now, then there might have ever been before. People are searching for answers, to questions that they aren't even sure of, nor do they even really know what to ask, or who to ask, or why they even need an answer; because if they get an answer, it will most likely not be the answer that they are looking for.

The number one issue that needs to be answered: How do I fix my life? Answer: Lose it! Amazing as that might seem, as a solution, it is not something that you work on, as if you labor for it to happen; the change does not happen in a vacuum! You cannot just take or give it all away; there must be something else that takes the place; something far more important and powerful, that there is a stronger desire to hold onto, then that which you have left behind.

I am not trying to talk anyone into just making a drastic change; that is not how this works! We cannot change this heart, only God can make that change. But we must be willing to allow Him to change it, and that my dear friends, is where you make your decision! How far are you willing to be changed...

"Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If any of you want to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?"" (Matthew 16:24-26 NLT)
