"CHAPTER SEVEN"

THE SONG OF SONGS (Chapter Seven)

"Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation." (Psalms 100 NLT)

Oh, how I wish I could do justice to this upcoming masterpiece! But, I do have a little something to add, if you will, as a little bit of a distraction that turns into the main attraction. Yesterday I was blessed to hear a certain teaching, unlike anything else that I have heard; as it had to do the a very young child; an infant, no less, that was God's gift to the entire world! You might know who this infant is, because He is God; the one that is so called, Son of Man!

Amazingly, I had not ever heard this told the way I heard it yesterday. Long story short: the Creator of the universes, of all heaven and earth, became an infant, a small little baby! I know what you are thinking, 'What's so special about that?' Well, if you must know, the Creator God, was placing Himself in the care of His creation! I know, it's obviously what happened, much as most any child born, is dependent upon the mother to nurse and care for them; because without being cared for they would surely not survive.

But that is the most amazing part of the story! He placed His life within the hands of His creation! Talk about faith, 'Oh ye of little faith, let me show you what it looks like to have real faith!' If the God of all creation can put His trust in man, how or why is it so hard for man to put trust in Him? Besides that, the most weakest possible way to show up on earth, was to come in the form of a little baby. You can think upon that for a little bit, because the connection to weakness and strength, is that God's ways and our ways are worlds apart! Besides that, do you know why swaddling cloth? What did it mean?

Talking about babies, the Baby-Boomers are beginning to reach the age of dependency, as they are moving into their 60's, 70's and up, they are beginning to start using up the retirement systems, that are probably not even there. Just to give you a little comfort, if you are worried; there is a vaccine for you, if you are concerned about finances or retirement. So have a little faith...

"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet, God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as a sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus." (Romans 3:23-26) NLT
