"Regardless!"

"The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: He maketh the devices of the people of none effect." (Psalms 33:10) You know, there once was a time when it was alright to pray in our public schools; as a matter of fact, it was Christian principles and teaching of the Bible that actually started many schools in the first place, especially those schools of higher learning. I have to wonder what God will do in the case of all this 'politically correctness' that is being thwarted around in our public schools today; children are taught and encouraged in the ways of Islam, but the Bible is banded from academic bookshelves, and Jesus is made to look as someone that really didn't matter all that much; God forbid that any teacher wear a cross or make mention of the name of Jesus Christ, especially in the context of forgiveness of sins. But here's the thing that I think is going on, whether or not you believe it, that's up to you; but the Bible tells us that in the last days there will be times like this: where even our churches are turned away from sound doctrine; caring more that the message makes them feel good about themselves, then that it aids them in correction of the way they live their lives. Some people just don't understand how much God loves them, even in their sin, He is willing to love them and lift them up out of the damnation of their broken lives, if they would only repent and turn to Him. There is really nothing left to be fulfilled for Jesus to come back for His church; just a few more souls is all that God is waiting for, and then we all go home in a twinkling of an eye! It's at that moment when the whole earth will be in shock, especially those that thought they would be taken, and those that scoffed at the mention of His soon return. But, as we wait, there is work to do for His kingdom; regardless of what might be said, or what regulations are placed in the way of the gospel message, His people must be diligent to spread the Good News; all the way up to that day, and that very hour of His return..."But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." (2 Peter 3:8-13)
