"Historical Documents"

"Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun." (Ecclesiastes 7:11 KJV)

"Timothy, guard what God has entrusted to you. Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge. Some people have wandered from the faith by following such foolishness." (1 Timothy 6:20-21 NLT)

I hate to say this, but I was watching News Max the other day, and they were showing a so-called historical documentary about how the earth was created by a Super-Nova. I quickly changed the channel, and was very disappointed, telling myself I won't be watching that channel anymore. Just when you think that you might have found a good source of real information, they hand you stuff that is imaginary and based upon bad science.

This might not stir up anyone's belief in the Holy Scriptures, but if this earth was as old as they say it is, it would have been toast if it was only millions of years old, let alone billions of years. Talk about Global-Warming: the sun would have been in our atmosphere, and we would have never existed.

Yesterday I brought up a conversation about the video we watched Wednesday night at church, as Pastor Byran set it up, telling us how it could be one of the most important pieces of information we might get, based upon Daniel chapter 11. There are many people that deny Damiel 11 could have been written when it was written, because it is so accurate about world events, happening so far out after it was actually written.

As Pastor Bryan put it: 'If we can see the results of God's promises that have been fulfilled, we can better believe and have faith in the promises yet to come!' Historical Documents that line-up with the Bible prophecy, who would have thought to line all of that up together?

I have been amazed over one set of Scripture, from the so-called, oldest book of the Bible, "The Book of Job." There are many things within the Book of Job that tell of scientific facts, like the climate and the way the earth revolves around the sun; but this one passage has me captured, because it is so close to history, like within the last 120 years!

Three things that took place within the end of the 1800's and the beginning of the 1900's: the first of which was the ability to magnify snowflakes; the second of which, was the ability to photograph the magnified snowflakes, showing how no two were alike; and the third, was World War One...

""Have you visited the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of hail? (I have reserved them as weapons for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war.)"" (Job 38:22-23 NLT)
