No matter what you might think about what heaven will be like, or how it was that God makes us into the children that we should become; God's love is never-ending, always alive, and is stronger than we could ever imagine. I know that I don't understand all there is to know about this life in Christ; but what I do know, is that putting our faith in Him to save us and get us through to the other side, is pretty much the most important thing that we must do!
Yes, we have things in our lives that might trip us up, beat us down, and cause us to want to give up; but anything that can wear us down, is also the thing that can draw us closer to Him, if we can just surrender! There is the thing that becomes hard and continually holds us back, the ability to completely surrender all that He tells us must go, because we always will try to hold onto something.
It is all about God's love...
"All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world." (1 John 4:15-17 NLT)
