"To The Dust" - Too

"All go unto one place, all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again." (Ecclesiastes 3:20 KJV)

""Whenever you enter a city or village, search for a worthy person and stay in his home until you leave town. When you enter the home, give it your blessing. If it turns out to be a worthy home, let your blessing stand; if it is not, take back the blessing. If any household or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake its dust from your feet as you leave."" (Matthew 10:11-14 NLT)

Without even thinking about what is going on around us, first and foremost, we must think about the church! All of this world is going to be what it will be, just as the Bible says, and we are going to be persecuted, if we represent Jesus, as Jesus said: ""When you are arrested, don't worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time."" (Matthew 10:19 NLT)

With that, I must confess, I think sometimes I make too much of this world's issues as my concern; when it is our obligation to share Jesus, not the issues that are going on around us! Opinions might matter to some, but the real opinion that matters is the Lord's, as in, "What would Jesus do?"

All this stuff is actually quite easy to understand, as wicked and evil as it all might be! This world is breaking and getting closer and closer to the end: We need to be about our Father's business...

"After the celebration was over, they started home to Nazareth, but Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents didn't miss him at first, because they assumed he was among the other travelers. But when he didn't show up that evening, they started looking for him among their relatives and friends. When they couldn't find him, they went back to Jerusalem to search for him there. Three days later they finally discovered him in the Temple, sitting among the religious teachers, listening to them and asking questions. All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. His parents didn't know what to think. "Son," his mother said to him, "why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been frantic, searching for you everywhere." "But why need you need to search?" he asked. "Didn't you know that I must be in my Father's house?"" (Luke 2:43-49 NLT)
