"Stratagem"

"Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest." (John 18:24 KJV)

"Who among you fears the LORD and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the LORD and rely on your God. But watch out, you who live in your own light and warm yourselves by your own fires. This is the reward you will receive from me: You will soon fall down in great torment." (Isaiah 50:10-11 NLT)

If you think that was weird, buckle up and hold onto your hat, this is just starting to take shape; almost like that bronze serpent which was lifted up on that pole in the wilderness! Whatever men might have plotted, God has already dug the hole that they will fall into; it is God that rules, and it is by His rules that everything falls into place, regardless of what mankind might think they do, they only destroy themselves.

As I was saying before, it is believed by some that Annas was the Rich Man in the story of 'Lazaras and the Rich Man.' In the story of a place where there was torment for the wicked and comfort for the righteous; and between them was a great chasm, which was set in place, by which none could cross over to the other side.

The Rich Man wanted to have Lazaras go back into life and tell his five brothers about the place of torment. It is believed that these five brothers were actually Annas' five sons; it is also, Annas that was believed to be the one that suggested Lazaras be killed, after Jesus had raised him from the dead.

Just some information regarding life and death, as we might plot and scheme things here in this life, but no matter what, you deal with it later, after death! The Bible lets us know: We die once, and then comes judgment! You cannot work your way out of that! But you can receive Jesus Christ into your heart and be set free from judgment all together!

That was God's stratagem, and His plans never fail! Thankfully for some, they are not all finished...

"That is why the Tabernacle and everything in it, which were copies of things in heaven, had to be purified by the blood of animals. But the real things in heaven had to be purified with far better sacrifices than the blood of animals. For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf. And he did not enter heaven to offer himself again and again, like the high priest here on earth who enters the Most Holy Place year after year with the blood of an animal. If that had been necessary, Christ would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But now, once and for all time, he has appeared at the end of the age to remove sin by his own death as a sacrifice. And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ died once and for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him." (Hebrews 9:23-28 NLT)
