"Whom Seek Ye?" - Too

"Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?" (John 18:4 KJV)

""I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I what you to know me more than I want burnt offerings."" (Hosea 6:6 NLT)

Forgive me if I don't say too much, but I hope to say enough. This might be the one question that God says more than any other, "Whom seek ye?" as it shows us a door to open, as if there needs to be the connection established between the creature and the Creator, Whom is the One that made us!

Simply put, God is in everything and is everywhere; and many people imagine He is somewhere else, somewhere like heaven or up in the shy somewhere, where we can never reach Him. Listening to the message yesterday from one of the Pastors teaching on Ecclesiastes, the one who said God is not shown in that Book, it seemed as though he had changed the tune of his message, now saying that Solomon was comparing the two different ways to think, by Philosophy and Theology.

As he put it, there are some who, although they might believe there is a God, they think that God created everything there is, and then walked away, as if to say, "You are on your own; have a nice life!" This too is all about meaningless thinking! Why are we here? is the question that many ask, as if there isn't a reason that God has created us!

God wants fellowship with His children! "Then God said, "Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us."" (Genesis 1:26a NLT) That is something we don't think about much, but it is something that God has put a lot of thought into...

"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love - not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." (1 John 4:7-10 NLT)
