"Reinforced Error"

 "Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth." (John 18:7 KJV)

  "Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the children of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!" (Hebrews 12:25 NLT)

 What we are talking about here, is apples and oranges! Jesus' humility forgives their error, but they should have corrected the mistake, especially, after the experience of falling down. However, hard hearts are made even harder by making everything more worldly! If they could only see the spiritual side of the moment they were in, then they would realize the One they were up against! 

 By the way, there is more and more believers who are starting to get engaged with secular ways to deal with emotions, feelings, and disorders. Now, it is beginning to move towards the use of drugs and even psychedelic medicine. This really can't be good; but there are those in ministry that are trying to make it okay, as if it is just a natural means to get enlightened. 

 That is a serious error in reason! In the words of Katy Bates in the movie Waterboy, "Drugs are the devil!" Believe me, I know; I have been there and have seen the spiritual side of that ride! They are all really connected, from the least to the greatest, they all have the same demonic thread running through them. 

 Becoming one with the world, is really not where a follower of Christ should want to be; we are called to be separate and set apart; being filled with the Spirit, focusing on the Word of God, and the power of prayer; not trying worldly ways to get ourselves in the right frame of mind! Your mind might get sharper, but your spiritual walk will get dull and less effective, at least in the arena of God and the wonder-working power of blood of Jesus Christ! 

 We should not replace what God can do in us, with the tools which are given out to the worldly! I know that there will be arguments and people trying to prove that is wrong; but when it comes to certain forms of drugs, keep your mind out of the frying pan! Someone told me yesterday there were even Christian Brodcasting stations that are advertising Cannabis products. What's next? Mushrooms! 

 You think I am kidding, think again! They are all connected; and where the center of that wheel is, you really don't want to go...

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
