"Who Do You Know?"

"Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust." (John 5:45 KJV)

"Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are." (Romans 3:19-20 NLT)

Having been certain about what I believe, it is abundantly clear that the most important thing for me to remember, beyond anything else, is the fact that my sins have been forgiven! We have settled that, so now we move forward in a relationship with our Heavenly Father; not because we have earned it, but because He has made it possible by His Son! Imagine what a sacrifice was given, that we should not cherish the thought, the purpose, and the finished work of the cross; all done for the Father's desire for fellowship with His children!

It is this concept that we must never cast aside, as if it were up to us, based upon the right we have to reject it, as if it were up to us to accept it! We have no idea the amount of planning that went into the day and hour of your salvation; we can only thank God for His mighty hand being upon our lives, regardless of the way we treated Him, He never gave up chasing us and holding us; and that was when we were sinners; imagine now, that we have been confirmed into the Family of God, the hold He has upon our lives!

Take a good look at this Scripture, because Jesus is peeling away another layer of their hearts, as He shows them, in whom they have placed there trust; it is not the one that is the Giver, but the messenger of the law. I know, it is really quite interesting to think about; but if you really stop and think about what actually means; it is really like us trying to save ourselves from dying, by building a fortress around our lives; only to find ourselves dying inside that same fortress.

You think about that, and let me know how it works; because the harder I try and figure it out, the more I get turned inside-out! Just remember this very important and undeniable fact: God loves you more than you know; He loves you more than you even love yourself...

"But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised by the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are." (Romans 3:21-22 NLT)
