"The Gathering"

"When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that has eaten." (John 6:12-13 KJV)

"For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you." (2 Corinthians 9:10 NLT)

Yes, it is true, God does provide! We cannot even begin to imagine all that God does for us, most of which goes unnoticed and is not even things that we know are even happening. Something to think about, as we seem to be headed into a time of whatever! But whatever is never a problem for any of God's children, just incase you were looking for serious answers!

As I was scanning through some other information regarding these four faces, it would appear that there are serious variations of teachings on the order of which face has more priority in reference to the list of the Gospels. The one I noticed this morning has Jesus' using the Lion face for Matthew, the Ox face for Mark, the Man face for Luke, and the Eagle face for John.

"The Eagle Has Landed!" Mission Accomplished, is the meaning of that term; which pretty much means the completion of a mission objective or a great accomplishment. Seriously, I am not making this up! To be totally honest, I had a feeling in my gut that there was some connection, I just didn't know that the connection would be so complete and fulfilling.

The Ox is absolutely the Servant, there is no doubt about that. The Lion is, depending on your position as a servant is a symbol of strength; sometimes strength is in submission, as it requires more patience to be humble than it does to be aggressive or overbearing. The Man is Man, no matter how you slice it, the subject is subject to what it represents; but depending on your origin or position, the subject is life or death!

The Eagle, on the other hand, is able to look straight into the sun, without flinching! Don't back down from that which you are called to be or do, because you are anointed to be and do what God has chosen you for; it is written, so let it be done! In other words: The mission has already been accomplished...

"I do not mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me." (Philippians 3:12 NLT)
