"All The Time, God Is Good!" - To Me!

"As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all." (Ecclesiastes 11:5 KJV)

"The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control." Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD. So rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!" (PSALM 32:8-11 NLT)

Keeping with the main point, hopefully it doesn't need to be repeated again; we really have no idea what the journey ahead might be, even if we plan it on our own, things happen, times change, and people forget what they were searching for or why they even started. But God, who does not change, when He directs us and watches over us; and we can know that the end of the journey will always be the same!

I might not understand why certain things happen, or why they happen still; but I know that God loves me, and He watches over me, and whatever might happen in this life doesn't compare to the glory and majesty that is waiting for us in Heaven. Nothing on this earth can come close to being with our Lord, for ever and ever!

As to the point about Jesus on the cross: Everyone that witnessed His death thought it was tragic, or disgusting, or even something that He deserved; depending upon what you might have thought of Him. But we know, beyond a doubt, it was the power of God working to save the entire earth! What might have appeared to be something tragic, became the greatest thing that could ever happen. What might have been disgusting, became the manifestation of God's love. What might have appeared to be His punishment, was actually ours!

These might be things that many people don't quite understand, but understanding that God really does love us, is really not that hard to do...

"Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD revealed his powerful are? My servant grew up in the LORD'S presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him. He was despised and rejected - a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weakness he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all." (Isaiah 53:1-6 NLT)
