"Surely"

"As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand." (Ecclesiastes 5:15 KJV)

"Those who are wise must finally die, just like the foolish and senseless, leaving all their wealth behind. The grave is their eternal home, where they will stay forever. They may name their estates after themselves, but their fame will not last. They will die, just like animals. This is the fate of fools, though they are remembered as being wise. Interlude

Like sheep, they are led to the grave, where death will be their shepherd. In the morning the godly will rule over them. Their bodies will rot in the grave, far from their grand estates. But as for me, God will redeem my life. He will snatch me from the power of the grave. Interlude " (PSALM 49:10-15 NLT)

If there is one thing that matters in this life, it is the promise of eternal life with Jesus! Nothing we can have in this life compares with that which He has promised; absolutely nothing! No matter how, we must hold unto that promise, guarding our hearts, purifying our minds, and holding firmly to the promises of God; because there are many things in this world that will try and convince us otherwise!

Currently we are in the Book of Daniel and getting ready to begin chapter three. With so many things that are around us, which may or may not harden our hearts, the lesson of the 'Firey Furnace' is something that should help us to have faith, no matter what. The point is clear: Whether or not God will provide a way, we will not turn away, or not believe in His promises!

Having learned so much all of these years, I can never learn enough! There is no end of knowing the things that pertain to God, because there is no end to His existence and His word. I know, it is old news to a lot of us, but it needs to be understood, again and again.

Currently, whether you are for or against what might be going on around us, God is still on the throne! Anything and everything that is going to happen has already been foretold, so it should come as a big surprise. Pastor Daniel started his message yesterday by sharing about all the Christians who got mad and overheated by the 'Last Supper' ordeal that was put on at the Olympics.

We should be surprised, because it is surely meant to be, and it will most likely get a lot worse...

""Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man."" (Luke 21:34-36 NLT)
