"Held in Christ"

"I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me." (S.O.S. 7:10)

  Well, Happy New Year, for all those that are secure in Christ! The challenges that await us are not all that difficult, not if we keep our eyes on Jesus and keep waiting for His soon return! Believe it and expect it will soon be upon us, and be ready; with every once of faith you might have, be ready! 

  If there is any doubt, whether it is in yourself or in Christ, this is a pretty good time to weigh the proof against the issues that can cause the doubt. Not that this day is any different than any other, but that the time is right to deal with the issues and make a stand for Christ. How much do I trust Him to catch me? How do I know I am secure in His love? Where is the proof of this wonder-working power? These are questions that many believers might be asking, but each and every single answer has got to start with trusting in the Lord, despite the doubt.

  In other words, you are more than likely not going to shake all the doubt; it is just the way it goes, as soon as you think you have removed all of the doubt, you will be shaken and stirred to the point of doubting again. There is really only one way that we can plan ahead for what this merry-go-round might dish out: Take God at His Word! "God said it. I believe it. That settles it." If there is one thing that will never change, it is the Word of God! Now, if you might have a problem still, your doubt is in His Word; at which point I would sincerely suggest you start praying for your salvation. 

  It is never too late to be saved! As long as you still have breath, you have the ability to cry out for Him to save you; even in the last breath you might take, it still counts; because His rules never change! If you believe in Jesus Christ with all your heart, and you confess with your mouth, then you will be saved. But it starts by believing in the Word of God! 

  "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." (John 1:1-5) NLT 

  This is more that just proof, this is the basic standard by which we must believe! I said it before and I will say it again: JESUS IS GOD! Do you believe in the Word of God? Then put your faith in Jesus Christ and He will put the Light in you! Does that mean you still will not doubt? No! You will always have doubt about who you are and what you are capable of doing; but you can start right now to erase all doubt that you might have in the Word of God, by simply believing in and trusting in His Word!

  There is simply no other options, none what so ever! So now, where are you held? Just believe...
