"Whatever It Takes"

"If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar." (S.O.S. 8:9)

"Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: and I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction in thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise." (Isaiah 60:16-18)

Okay, so here we have something we might need to examine with our hearts wide open, because it is a manifestation of the New Covenant Jesus spoke about, as He took the sins of the world upon Himself, thereby fulfilling the law, with was basically that which showed us how sinful we really were. In the actual Old Covenant, which was established with Abraham, the requirement then was that of circumcision, to be set apart; this New Covenant is that of love, which is the circumcision of the heart!

As I mentioned before, these, "The Young Woman's Brothers," would be revealing who the, "Young Women of Jerusalem," were or are; they are the law or the spirit of the law; that which shows us our complete and utter failure to fulfill that which God requires. Showing us our standing; lighting a path, if you will, to the need of a Savior and Redeemer! That does not mean that the law of God is bad, because His laws are very good; but they were bad for us, because we could not honestly keep them.

These "Brothers" represent those two commandments that are spoken of in Luke 10:27, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself." Jesus said of these two commandments, "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:40) The law never goes away, but it is fulfilled by those that walk in the Spirit; the Holy Spirit that now dwells within us!

Rather interesting, don't you think? Yet, we are loved beyond measure! Two things that represent God, His Word and His Love; both of which are boundless and unstoppable! Both of which, we must embrace with all of our might and never let go! But, just in case we might, whether intentional or by mistake, let go or walk away, you are not going to be out of His reach, EVER! I hope you know and understand that...

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-4)
