"Young Woman"

"I aroused you under the apple tree, where your mother gave you birth, where in great pain she delivered you. Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be totally scorned." (S.O.S. 8:5b - 7 NLT)

"Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and the bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:16-17)

In life there are special moments when you feel as though you might have been here before; whether you were or not, it is really hard to know. In my opinion, these are simply visions or dreams that get brought to life; you somehow saw something in your past, that was manifested later in your life. Whether it was a day or several decades, for a brief moment, maybe even a split second of time, you realize in your mind, wow, this seems like something that has happened before.

Strangely enough, this is the way I see this starting out, as she reflects upon a flicker of time, when love first bites! I know that I might be a little off sometimes; as it is hard not to be if you are writing and sharing every single day. Not many of us can be equipped with sound minds and thoughts each and every day of our lives; at least I don't think that may people can.

I recall a certain disciple that Jesus meet, and it went like this: "Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith to him, Behold and Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile. Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel." (John 1:47-49)

To be or not to be, is more than just a question; it is a statement of something that is brought to life within us. When and where it takes place, is totally and completely undeniable; you cannot forget it, because it is scorched upon your heart! Do you remember the place and the time of day where you first met Jesus? Most likely this was not Nathanael's first encounter with Jesus, at least not spiritually!

Regardless of what happens in this life, we have the same outcome, we will be with Christ Jesus in heaven! Here, there, or in the air! That is our cry and our belief! My prayer for all of us, is that we keep out eyes on Christ and remain diligently in the Word. The ground around is sifting sand, but upon the Rock we must stand; and nothing can knock us off...

"For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope; for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." (Romans 8:24-25)
