"A Very Special Place"

"A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed." (S.O.S. 4:12)

Maybe you were expecting a little more on sanctification; as I had originally planned, but the Lord would have it otherwise. Besides, the main meaning of the word is to be set apart; with that basic principle there are numerous ways and means for that to happen, which are ongoing and on so many different levels, most of which, we do not even fully understand. But, I will say this: that smoky and ash covered cartoon character I mentioned, would be splashed with Holy Water from on-high, and made white as snow! Sorry, if there is an little uneasiness in your heart over that, because the cursing that I believe James was actually speaking of was more than just swear words; it is judging and speaking out against God's anointed: "Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean." (Acts 10:15)

With that, I am going to say something that might not set well with some, (as if that might be something new and different!): I fully expect to see Ananias and Sapphira his wife in heaven. There is the real definition of what being slain in the Spirit looks like; as they were taken as an example that lying has consequences. Just because their flesh was destroyed, does not mean that they were not saved; as a matter of fact, their death was used far more importantly than the offering that they lied about giving. Whether you agree with it or not, just because someone that has been saved, might sin, does not take away their freely given salvation. If that were the case, none of us would be going to heaven! (Galatians 3:22 and 1 Timothy 1:20; check into commentary on these two Scriptures!)

If you really want to know, sanctification is more about preservation than it is about making us holy; we were made holy the moment we received Christ into our heart; until the moment we die, Jesus needs to keep washing our feet and representing our case to the Father! We step in it all the time, whether we realize it or not! But for-goodness-sake, we have this, A very special place! Besides, another way to be looking at what it means when God has sanctified someone, is "the state of proper functioning." "To sanctify someone or something is to set that person or thing apart for the use intended by its designer." (BibleStudyTools.com)

Be that as it may! We are saved, not for being glorified here on this earth: We are glorified in heaven; and we are, in someway or another, already there! Our salvation is secure and is way out of reach; you cannot take it back, even if you might think it is yours to take! It was bought and paid for by the blood of Christ, and you cannot climb up there and try to buy it back! Now, let's rinse and repeat, again...

"For I an not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes -the Jew first and also the Gentile. This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life." (Romans 1:16-17) NLT
