"Pierced in the Heart"

"Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins." (Psalms 73:21) Not that it has anything to do with getting spanked, but if you don't lay down your life, then it will be taken from you; don't ask me how or to what degree; but just know this, what Jesus did for you on the cross was for your eternity, not for this life. I was thinking about this yesterday, but can you be saved and still go through the Tribulation? We might not get how serious this really is, but this is a battleground, not a playground. For just a brief moment, I saw the torment that Jesus went through; and although it was intense, it was brief. Those that must go through the tribulation will not have it so brief; they might not have the intensity and suffer the same degree of humiliation, but they will suffer longer, and they will be tempted like you can't believe to deny Christ Jesus. They will not be tempted because they do not believe; oh no, they will believe more than ever before; but they will be tempted to not face the punishment any longer. Each and every day the punishment will intensify; each and every day it will be harder to not comply with the new regulations; each and every day it will be harder to survive and to find food. As I was thinking about this, I was wondering about several different things that are happening in our world right now that have the mark of things to come. One of which is something I heard the other day, that more Jews than ever before believe Jesus was the Messiah. The other, is the fact that love is being used to unite everyone together behind every sort of deception, whether it be accepting alternative life styles or ungodly religions, it is in the name of love that we must conform to the new world order. I heard something else yesterday that reminded me of how the enemy works: he is really good at copying the good things and using them to draw people over to his side. Love is of God, yet using it as a ploy to unite those that care not for the Gospel or for God's love, is down right evil! You had better get ready, because Jesus is coming very soon! You have heard the saying, "Get right, or get left," well it is more than a saying, it's a fact that will need to be reckoned with...
"Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. However, no one knows the day or the hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. When the Son of Man returns, it will be like in Noah's day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn't realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.  Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming." (Matthew 24:32-42) NLT
